Imagine that you’re invited to a gala celebrating entrepreneurship of people with disabilities. Of course, they had ASL interpreters there. But, as it turned out, when it’s dark, interpreters don’t work well.
Cue my phone stand to the rescue, with a phone running Google Live Transcribe sitting atop it. This worked much better and allowed me to network. I had a nice chat with the founder and CEO of 2Gether-International, Diego Mariscal. I had joined one of his women’s cohorts for training in the Spring of 2021. He is a wonderful motivational speaker. And thanks to Artistanda’s innovations, I was able to make it fully accessible even in difficult environmental settings.
