It was my second time visiting the Gaithersburg Book Festival last Saturday, May 17, 2025. I met several children’s picture book authors, each with their unique experiences and styles, which made the diverse readings even more interesting. I learned something valuable while interacting with these authors, as I discovered a potential way to support both their work and mine. I plan to follow up with some of them when I can.
Incidentally, when I showed them samples of my book stands, almost all of them looked amazed. Some exclaimed, ‘Cute!’ and many asked for my business card. The good news is that my book stands sold there, at least in some capacity.
